This chalk cliff was started on response to a slope shimmering white in the sunlight at College Lake, Buckinghamshire. Then a visit to Hunstanton and the slope took on a reddish tinge . In fact it is such an amalgamation of all those cliffs that rise above us which although they look permanent change constantly because of their crumbling chalkiness.
